Once outside on Deck 8, guests can walk towards the aft of the ship, and will discover unobstructed views of the very back of the ship. This area makes a for a great place to snap a photo or two onboard. Despite this, there are still tons of restaurants and entertainment venues crammed onto Norwegian Getaway. You’d have a difficult time seeing and doing everything on the ship during just one cruise.

The ship seemed to have plenty of room to accommodate all of the guests onboard, and no restaurant ever seemed overly crowded. We noticed multiple crew members and fellow passengers commenting that reservations seemed unnecessary on this sailing. I recommend still making reservations ahead of time for things such as dining and shore excursions just in case, but it seemed that these things could have been easily arranged once onboard.
